My Mom has Parkinsons. Last time I talked with her, she was much worse than before. She is to the point where it's getting too difficult to walk with a walker, but her insurance doesn't cover a scooter or wheelchair. When she shops, my sister's put her in the store scooter cart, but she has no control in it and crashes a lot. So one has to walk with her and help her along the way.

Sigh...I'm sitting here in front of the Flamingo, waiting to meet up with LVD, Pommy, and her husband. We were supposed to meet at 9pm at Bill's, but because of packed busses and bad traffic I'm over 1 1/2 hours late. My cell phone service is off, LVD doesn't have one, and I don't know Pommy's ph#. I'm thinking about checking out the area, but I might forget about it, and go home.

There were 3 accidents on I-15, and one person died when a car slammed into the back of a cab, the cab caught fire and a 64 yr old in the back of it died. His friends got to witness that.
