What day? We will be spending our 20th next Wednesday in Vegas. But please no rain. We plan on doing some hiking in Red Rock and Valley of Fire.

Plus we expect 2"+ of rain this weekend here.

The 26th, tuesday. Only 19 years, but feels like 50! lol
Happy early anniversary to you both.
If it doesn't rain, we will probably go hiking or a nice long bike ride. Then out to dinner.

Yeaterday we spent the day in Kingman doing errands for My Aunt and Uncle [both 87].
We decided to leave about 5:30...the drive back was spectacular... Clouds Thunder Lightening Sunset....and then .... traffic came to a halt at about milepost 10.... we are used to constructio on that road but this was ridicules... from 6:30 to 8:45 we moved forward a few hundred feet at a time....then parked for 20 minutes... then inched forward again.

We coulodn't see where we were because of the darkness and the thuinder and lightening flashes.... all we could tell was that there had been a LOT of changes in the road sine we drove down yesterday morning.

THEN it his me....I looked to the left and down below us sat the check station...DARK and ABANDONED....
WE WERE GOING OVER THE BRIDGE.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
On a curve I could see ahead and saw 3 rows of cars 3 abreast with lights flashing... behind them 14 cars then US.....and then we were there.....on the bridge in a thunderand lightening storm....the 15th car to drive across the f'n bridge

IT IS GREAT.....the side rails are solid and high so you cant see anything but the road ahead, but we drove the f'n bridge on the the very first night.....

Loved your post Buzz! I have a relative who crosses there almost every day. He is thankful the sides of the bridge hide the view. He's afraid of heights, lol.

I was really looking forward to being a part of a group that was planning to walk the new bridge last Saturday. We didn't get it together though. If I understand correctly, we can still do it but now it will be with the cars also.
