Thanks, nothing like leaving at 5 a.m. and coming back at 7 p.m. then having to unload a full van of beef jerky and snacks. Luckily, I only have to do it once a month.

I'm sure everyone else will share the sentiment that we hope the phone will ring with a job offer soon. I'm thinking positive thoughts for you

So, do they get ticked if you fall asleep there? Kind of like in school?

Hoping your interview went well!

Mmm...beef jerky! I love beef jerky, especially if it's the teriyaki beef kind. I also love tortilla chips.

One of the librarians woke me up, asking if I was ok. Sure, but it would have been better if it'd had been one of the lady librarians that had woken me up. I last fell asleep in class when I had my basic public safety dispatcher (911) class a few years ago. Before that, I think that it was my Latin class, back in high school.

Thanks for the well wishes. This was a first round interview, and I'll know within a week if I've been selected for the second round one on one private interview. I've got a couple of different irons in the fire, so I'm hedging my bets by looking at several different jobs. Thanks for all of your support, everyone. You guys are the best.

Tell your Dad next time to wear sunglasses and hold a book while falling asleep. If he can train his hands to hold the book while sleeping, they cannot prove he is asleep. lol

No, the librarian was gentle. "Are you ok, sir?" Too bad it was a guy!

Pink: I remember once, as a kid, seeing my grandmother knitting once while she was asleep.

i once fell asleep standing up on a boat on the way back from a sampling trip....i had a pair of shades on and an arm around the A-frame railing, kind of leaning on the tether. the bouncing action of the waves made it look like i was talking with my advisor. he said he talked to me for a couple of minutes before realizing i hadn't really responded w/ nething other than a nod.

it's a wonder i didn't fall over, or worse, off the deck.....but that boat and me had an understanding. i kept her neat and secure and didn't drop the anchors on her...and she let me live
