LVD, you are consistently going out of your way to post inflammatory articles that really serve no purpose. "30 Reasons Why People Should Be Getting Really Nervous About The State Of The U.S. Economy"
is the most ridiculous title to an article I have seen in a while. It's simple fear mongering designed to entrance people into becoming obsessed. To some degree it is necessary for people to understand the changes that are happening to the country. To take it to the level that you have and become consumed with it and try to make everyone live in fear as you are is just plain selfish and purposeless. None of us can see the future, including you. So I suggest you stop trying to do so and start eliminating the negative thoughts from your mind so you can go on living. I don't care if there was news today that a giant meteor would destroy the planet next year. I'd rather be dead than sitting around worrying and cowering fear.

Unforgiven - sorry but you are mistaken.. that meteor is supposed to hit on November 14th, 3:26 pm, at the corner of Lossee and Craig on the North East sidewalk next to the Chipoltes restaurant. Just sayin'

This is a public board; I will respond to whomever I want on whatever subject I want, including your laughable opinions on economics and conspiracy theories. If you don't want to read my replies, put me on your ignore list. Problem solved.
You have never posted your opinion on the current economics but I am sure it is more laughable than mine. I am sure you think we are recovering but I know we are not.

I do not see how that article is inflammatory at all. Everything in it is true and backed up by links.

I might just join the military like Spraynard Kruger suggested. If nobody else will hire me, the military will

I REALLY CANNOT turn 21 fast enough. And even then my job possibilities on the strip are bleak this time of year, LVD even said so and unfortunately his negativity this time is correct

I need to make some money now (like RIGHT NOW), but right now it feels like the jobs just arent there, and even when they are, I dont get hired
I would never join the military personally, but that is just me. The good news is we are going into holiday season so there will be plenty of temporary jobs that can at least get you by for a while. Try this site.

I totally agree with this point! My husband was a Super at MGM in Detroit. Sorry, but the almost hour drive was worth it not to live near Detroit. And when you are dealing with situations such as jobs sites that change, you pick where you love to be and deal with the commute. So, one hour is worth the rest of the day feeling comfortable where you live.

LVD, you hate where you live, just so your commute is short. So essentially the only good part of your day is the 10 minute drive to work and the 10 minute drive home. I would go the other way anyday!

If Im making good enough money I wont mind paying for the gas or the drive. I just hope its not a 8-4 job, rush hour traffic on the 95 is so much worse now with the construction sites at the Rainbow Curve and at Craig. And I have a horrendous temper on the road. LVD knows this
Sometimes it is worth it to take the surface streets. I have done that from the airport and it seriously only took me about maybe 10 minutes longer. Plus, I get to see things that I don't normally see. Makes for an interesting commute! Get yourself some calming music for your mind and just enjoy the ride!!

Went to the NHRA drag racing today. Not my thing, but it is my sister's thing and my husband got tickets through work, so I went. Beautiful day, pretty crowded there!!!

We have tickets for tomorrow too, I think I am passing on that! Once is enough for me, but it was fun!

Fremont tomorrow night and I don't think I am dressing up. Airics, so does that mean you are going to be Scooby Doo??? I saw that some of the Station Casinos are giving away $10K for best costume!!! Almost worth trying!
