Went out earlier and voted, not too many people in line to vote at all.
The only real issue is can she win it outright or does she have to go to a general election.

She may well be ok as the vote is very low.

If Carolyn wins, will she have 2 Chippendale dancers following her around everywhere?
Oscar always had showgirls, so Carolyn needs something warm and cuddly too.

The big question assuming she wins is what is her drink of choice? A cosmopolitan perhaps

Carolyn Goodman's campaign slogan: "One boob did great things for Las Vegas...Two boobs will do even better!"

It has to go to general election, she didn't win the majority, Chris came in second and Larry third

It'll be between Chris and Carolyn in June

I personally and IMO, don't think Larry would be a good mayor, Chris is a big maybe, and Carolyn, well, she'll just be Oscar's spokesperson, lol

Even though I don't agree with everything Oscar has done, IMO, he was a good mayor. I've met him and talked to him several times, he truly loves the city and wants to do only good for it.

Even though there are plenty of Oscar haters here in Las Vegas who claim people are stupid for voting for him, if Oscar were allowed by law to run again for Mayor, he'd win. No question about it.

To a tourist from New Yawk such as yourself, Oscar would look kind of silly, he lives and portrays (especially to the media) very well what Las Vegas is all about , but you don't live here and have no clue, and have never spoken to the man.

Default Heading to Paris with our Cocker Spaniel

That's the Paris hotel, not Paris, France.

My parents arrived in town yesterday for a week of gambling and fun. They like to spend a few days on the Strip itself before staying with us, so that they can just take an elevator down to the casino rather than drive back and forth. I had received a coupon in the mail awhile back for a two-night complimentary stay at Paris and had thought about using it while my parents were in town, but decided against it because we didn't want to drive back and forth to our house to take care of our cocker spaniel and we didn't want to board him either.

While we were at the hotel yesterday, we noticed a guest with a dog on a leash and then I remembered that Caesars had become a pet-friendly company. So we made a reservation for two-nights beginning today. Even though the normal surcharge for a pet is $35/night, since our room is comped, our pet's stay is comped as well. The hotel even provides canine-friendly amenities such as a mat, food and water bowls, dog treats, and disposable waste bags.

So it's off to Paris for the three of us. Way to go Caesars!
