I am referring to an under 50cc scooter. I know you do not need insurance, registration, or even a driver's license. But, I can not find any information on whether you can ride one with a suspended license.

Yea, they will go 40mph or so and I see them on the road all the time. They are illegal to take on the freeways.

Nevada Motorcycle Regulations

Quote:
You must have a Class C or higher driver license to drive a moped or motorized bicycle on a public street.
A moped is defined as:
Quote:
...a vehicle which looks and handles essentially like a bicycle and is propelled by a small engine which produces not more than 2 gross brake horsepower, has a displacement of not more than 50 cubic centimeters and is capable of a maximum speed of not more than 30 miles per hour on a flat surface with not more than 1 percent grade in any direction when the motor is engaged.

Thank you, I see with a suspended license it would be illegal to drive on a public street.

For those curious, the Nevada 30 mph moped speed stipulation is actually enforced in some communities . . example (http://www.mesquitenv.com/SpotlightArticle/Moped - broken link):
"If you are clocked on radar traveling more than 30 MPH, the scooter/moped will no longer be considered as such and the scooter/moped will be treated as a motorcycle. The driver MAY receive a citation(s) for no motorcycle license, no helmet or eye protection, no registration, and no insurance."

I know some of those 49cc Chinese made scooters have kits so they can go faster. I know someone who has one and its goes 50mph after installing the modification kit. Its a little too dangerous to go that fast anyways on one of those things in my opinion!

Looks like you're going to be a pedestrian, LV Drunk. You might try the CAT buses.

No, I did not get a DUI, my friend did. My last DUI was in 2005 and is fully taken care off.
