All this takes is some dreaming and imagination, and I'm sure we've all fantasized about having a billion dollars or so that we could spend on some dream project we'd like to have built here in our city.

Here's one of mine: I love going to that shopping center at Trop/Pecos (SW corner) for all the great views from that "hill" up there. I fantasize about buying up all those townhouses on the SE corner, along with that commercial area, leveling it, and putting up a curving mid-rise condo/apt building with a big rooftop deck, for views you'd kill for.

In a return to themed hotel/casinos, I'd love to see a treatment of St. Basil's Cathedral in Moscow. On a little more realistic front, I'd have a library/bookstore that's open 24 hours, with free wifi.

You'll be able to see your dream materialize before your very eyes starting next month with the Smith Center for the Performing Arts in Union Park. It's a go-go project. But won't be completed for a year or two. But hang in there!

If the Las Vegas Wet Resort actually does open, that would be nice...

Believe it or not, if i hit the lottery, i would open a nonprofit dog shelter. It would be a no kill facility. We have some really nice ones here in Ohio. The Lied animal shelter scares the H out of me...

I definitely agree on a waterpark. Both indoors and outside. If Ohio can have several of them I think Las Vegas should at least have one. But they must give the locals a deal :0)
