Hi everybody,

Just settled on the Hilton.

Pros - On the strip, good security, kitchen and laundry, relatively alive with people, check in/check out whenever you want to

Cons - $3,400 per month w/ taxes

Trump is never got their leasing program together although it would have been cheaper $2,400 total.

Oh well...pls leave comments, suggestions, coupons lol, etc.

WTG Sam. Gee, be my friend. Its good to have friends with money .

Glad you're happy. You did your homework, now enjoy. Do a seach for the thread that discussed half price shows for those coupons. See you at WSOP's star studded event on July 2 at 2:00. I'll be the only old guy wearing Crocs. Let's take a pic. YOU DID IT.

Did you check out Sky? Not full service but many. Excellent security and I would think 3K would get you a big spread or a lesser penthouse.

An example...

Very nice place. I'm not sure about high rises though. I read an article saying they are mostly empty and I'm not comfortable with that.

Seriously. You could rent a large home in a really nice neighborhood for a lot less than that.

This is what I researched and here is my reasoning and conclusion. Also, for other posts on here from people confused about moving I think this could help.

1. I needed a secure place close to the strip.

1 1/2. Summerlin seems a bit far but Henderson is ok distance wise depending on where in Henderson

2. Looked at several apartment complexes and security was just not what I needed. Gates aren't that big of a deterrence and apartments being open corridor means anyone can come knocking. Couldn't find a guard gated complex, but if there is one it would have to be very secure.

3. Next I researched high rise condos and read an article stating that most are owned as vacation properties. Most of the time they are empty. I'm just not comfortable with that.

4. Looked at some houses. Again I don't like living in a neighborhood. Anyone can come knocking on my door or even worse my window. I'm assuming if it's a safe neighborhood it'll be far away from the strip.

5. Looked at hotels, but most don't have kitchen and laundry***

6. ***Found out Trump and the Hilton in fact do have kitchen and laundry. After comparing prices, at the end of the month the Hilton is cheaper.

Now that I think about it...I could go w/o kitchen and get my laundry done by the hotel

BUT

I'm not sure if all of the hotels will allow extended stay. I'll have to call tomorrow.

So if you guys could comment on the research I did and maybe give your suggestions and comments that'd be great. I'm new to this so any info will really help. Thanks!
