It wouldn't be the first time the Red Mill caught fire, and I think it was squatters that caused it before. It's interesting that it is considered such a historical building and in all these years it hasn't been torn down like all the other historical buildings have. After all it was only open for a few months. Personally I would rather have saved the Stardust...and the old ice house.

I agree Buzz....I've been here since 1962 and have NEVER seen it opened.....all the pictures must have been from opening week.

It was either squatters or maybe Bob Stwhatizname bought into it.

I have heard that the casino was only open for a few months or a few years, I'm not sure which...

It was open May - Nov of 1955

It hosted segregation meetings in the 1960's.

It was a Church for a while.

Private Apartments.
