I recently moved to Vegas from Ireland and ive found it difficult to meet new people and make good friends when playing at casino as everyone there has their 'game face' on and im looking for a game once or twice a week where i can go play and hang out and just enjoy a relaxed game of low buy-in poker if anyone has any info on websites or host a game themselves then id be grateful for an invite.......

Home Poker Games - Listing of Home Poker Games in Nevada

Don't know how helpful it will actually be, but there's somewhat of a list.

The Vegas Poker League just started their second season. You can come play for free, and meet some good people. You might even find a home game or two...

Welcome to Vegas Poker League!

There's also the Nevada Poker League, but I haven't been to any of their games, so I can't say if they're any good.

A buddy of mine used to have tournament style home games the first Saturday of every month. $25 buy in and one $10 rebuy. Usually 4 tables going. I won it twice and cashed in 3rd once. He has been thinking of getting it going again. If it happens and anyone out in the NW part of town wants to partake I will keep you updated.

Are you talking about poker or Texas Holdem? There's a huge difference IMHO. As far as low buy-ins, how low is low? What kind of stakes are you proposing/looking for?

I'd be interested, if you need additional players I can find a few guys as well.

I'll give him a call today and see what's happening. I know that he has been pretty busy lately but he has mentioned that he wants to get it going again.

On another note Golfininnova, sorry to see the Pens take your Caps like that. If the Pens wouldn't have humiliated the Flyers in round 1 we would've seen that Philly Caps matchup. Maybe next year.

Oh well, somebody had to lose in that great matchup. Difference was the Pens got production from not only Crosby, but Malkin, Fedotenko, Adams, Guerin whereas the Caps production was only Ovechkin. Kozlov, Semin, and Green were junk in that series.

Wished the conference finals were better than what they turned out to be which was 2 duds
