When do the lower property taxes show up online.. i thought it was June.... i appealed my taxed and they lowered it significantly, i can't wait to see this.

Mid July. I called last week, and was trying to make a payment for 09-10. She said it wouldn't be billed until approx. the middle of July. I was going to send a check with my parcel number and let them credit--but she said all monies would be returned if no taxes were due. You and I both know they are more of a sure thing than sunshine.

The appeal must be filed by January 15, 2009 for the 09-10 tax year. My assessment went from 112 to 52 (I paid 35K). My taxes would have been 1294 this year, but were capped at 764. I should be paying about 600 this upcoming year. It's just a form. Have your supporting documentation ready. Current sales, what you paid, photos, etc.....
