However My post was in regards to F&B J.O's. I'm aware other depts have been extending job offers to externals for a while now (front desk, housekeeping, bell, Valet......)

I'm so glad to hear they haven't started f &b yet. I was getting worried when I heard about all the offeres being extended. I'm waiting for pastry dept. @Aria. This is making me crazy, checking my phone and email every 5 minutes all day for the past week! The anicipation is insane!!!! I've been on this thread since June (I think June), and I feel like we're all waiting to hear if we got the part in the school play or something. I've never experienced anything like this, we have this weird kind of bond, lol. It's going to suck for those of us who don't get it after almost a 1 year process. I applied the first day Jan 5, so like all of 2009 has cc has been in the back of my mind, and I know I'm not alone or there wouldn't be this thread. I wish everyone luck and THANK YOU for keeping us posted anytime someone hears anything. Hopefully my next post will say.. " I got the offer", lol. They did say they'd send out rejection letters at the same time ( when I called in Aug.), so we should know one way or the other soon. Good Luck everyone.
