Congratulations to all who were hired and to all still waiting, don't lose hope. We received a beautiful brochure from Aria yesterday. City Center and Aria look awesome in that brochure (catalog).

I have a feling I am going to test positive for Lortab I have a prescription for it, because I have slipped disk all down my neck from a bad sledding accident I got into. Anyway, my questioni is I noticed there are people on here saying that when the results came back, they got an email saying they failed.... Why is it that the lab didn't want to know your prescription history? If that shows up, and I get an email saying that I am, no longer in the running for city center, I am going to be very upset. Does anyone have insight on this??? Thank you.

I took my dt a few weeks after a surgury, and when I got home I called because I knew pain killers would show up. After talking to like 3 people, they said it would show no activity, and then a sudden spike, so if there was an issue I would be contacted to show my prescription. I was never contacted and I got the job, so I bet your fine

There are multiple casino bars (including service bars) that will be run by the Aria beverage dept and obviously they haven't started hiring bartenders yet. I know lots of people who have applied and nobody has heard anything.

So for now, we have to just hang in there and see how this all plays out...

Just to let you know, my friend that applied for bartender still has not heard anything as of yet either. We'll have to see if any calls go out from CC this weekend; or I guess that's is back to waiting next week.

RinVegas, you're right, the one person on this thread that got the JO for bartender was hired in one of the restaurants.

Congratulations to all who've gotten a JO from CC! Good luck to those still waiting as we go into next week!

Tvegas023, by the way, would you happen to know if the CC Rep that you spoke to meant 8 to 10 days left to hear only from CC? In another words, if an applicant to CC doesn't get a call at all in the next 8 to 10 days from CC, does that mean CC isn't going to hire them, but maybe some other MGM property may possibly be hiring an applicant who originally applied to CC? Sounds like a possibility, however if so, does that mean after 8 to 10 days and no hearing from CC, should an applicant give it another month or so (however long?) to hear from another MGM property? Does that make sense? I don't know if you'd know this or not, but not too sure what the CC Rep may have said or implied to you. Just curious, because applicants could leave the position that they originally applied for to CC open for a long time and not pursue other job openings waiting to hear from other MGM properties. Just curious as to what would be the best way to keep one's application 'open', but not hinder other opportunities.

Thanks!
