that's what i want is a part time position, my status still reads active/open, been NO changes since (it says) feb. i'm hopiing for a call soon.and if i was offered a full time, and if it was swing i've have to turn them down as i can't give up 11 years, bennies, and seniority..good luck on your decision..

Hello everyone!! I feel hopefull after reading the last few posts, plus I just got off the phone with cc, this time I talked to a very nice lady (Maria) who told me that the information I got last week, about this being the last week for calls, was incorrect!! I don't know if my leg is just being pulled but if your status is not "Inactive" Be hopefull!! Good luck to those who like me are waiting on the call and thanks! to the ppl who did receive a job offer but still take the time to keep the rest of us updated, that's very nice of you!!

Vegasink, what position did you apply for? Just a small update here, I just got back from processing and I was told that the estimate was that 85% of the job offers have already gone out, so there's still a chance out there for everyone still waiting for a call. Good luck!!

I'll "see" you at the city!

I just received an "Invite to Interview" e-mail!

Here is what is said:
"Dear (name):

Congratulations! We are very pleased to inform you that you have been selected to join the ARIA team.

We would like to schedule you to attend a Job Offer meeting for the position of Security Officer at the ARIA Resort & Casino. At the time of your appointment, a Department Manager
will review the details of the offer including rate of pay, start date, shift and days off.

Please contact the Career Center at (702) 590-2489 to confirm your appointment.

Welcome to the City!

Sincerely,

ARIA Resort & Casino Employment"

That is why they say to stay by your phones and check your e-mail because they can contact you either way.

I am still waiting. Have been since my department interview in May. When I called on Monday I did not feel hopeful after talking to the guy cuz he told me my options were to withdraw my app and apply for something else or keep waiting to see if the dept manager wants to hire me.

I just got off the phone with a c.c. rep to make an appointment and she didn't even know I was hired. She thought my interview was to apply

I go in Monday at 9am. I will keep you all informed.

Thank you for all your kind comments and thoughts.

My job status is open and my application status is blank... I applied for a full time bartender position at View Bar in Aria... I heard that bartenders are going to be the last ones called. Is this true? Is there still hope? Does any one have any anxiety pills...'cause I need one!
