Hi I think the problem people are having is when you go in for your psychemedic test, they do not ask you to disclose what types of medication you are on that could possibly show up in the drug test. I think that if they detect it in your system, and it's not a high enough level, they will not question it, because they have to follow certain governmental testing level guidelines.

By the way, good luck everyone who is still waiting for a call!!! I hope you people can get in there. Just stay positive!

So no one's heard anything about the Cirque show at Aria? if they expect to open with the rest of the casino or has been delayed for later? i just keep thinking of reasons to stay hopeful. If it's not that, why would they tell all of us who haven't received a call back and remain as open/active to hold on? i'm thinking, maybe once all the employees from the other sister properties that are transfering to city center start over there, then they plan to call all those of us who stayed as "good candidates" to those other properties to fill up the new open positions.

When things are tough like they are right now, you should spend less time thinking and more time doing. You'll be much better off in the end.

I'm thinking....even if the show is getting delayed to open a few moths later than expected, if i was going to be hired, shouldn't they still have called me for a uniform fit at least? HAAAAAAAA! what i'm i holding on for? But then again, there's not much out there for me to hope for. So i gotta keep holding on, especially when the person that interviewed me used to know me very well at a previous job whom i worked with for 6 years. She told me not to worry about the interview that she would put me through. I was soooo glad to see her and I think she felt the same. I just don't know what happened :'(

Hope is good and yes you should hang on. Your friend could very well come through for you, in time.
In the meantime, pound the pavement, put in some apps so you can get in front of as many hiring managers as possible. I guarantee, you will prevail.

Thank you Tanque Verde! I guess my "doing" is in shock for a bit. I was just "doing" sooo much before and then .... booom! lost two dear family memember, got in a bad accident, lost my car, messed up my back, lost my house, got really illed with a stupid virus, got hospitalized, then another accident and all in about a year. So i'm just floating around uncapable of doing much right now, besides writting like crazy and reading and reading and reading so I won't go nuts and just thinking of when i used to be able to walk through life without pain. But i do have the once in a while "Stop Crying! Life is beautiful and you'll see the rainbow after the rain"
