We currently live at an apartment after losing our home. We inherited some money and could finally buy a home without financing. Should we wait for lower prices as is being predicted or go for it?

A lot of that depends on how much you are planning to spend on the house? Are you thinking of putting the entire inheritence on it and paying cash? Is this house going to be one you plan on living in for many years?

I would go for it. Prices are already so cheap and the future is unpredictable, so if you have the cash now, it's a good time.

I agree with radraja why wait no one really knows whats going to happen. If you want to be in a house why not go for it now.
