Regardless of what it is in other areas unless you're in a >1000 sq ft place it becomes insane compared to a single family home, which was the point.

Renting there and having the landlord cover the HOA is appealing however.

Perhaps we should compare them....
I live in 1275 sqf and pay $659 hoa which include everything(water, sewage, garbage, direct TV, gas, security) but electric which is ridiculously cheap $50-60 in summer $30-35 in winter.

In a single house similar size with pool your electric is going to be $200-300/month + water, sewage, garbage, gas,TV + if you exercise like I do, you have to join a gym and drive there too. Obviously, you will need an alarm service as well even if it is a gated community.

In the end the difference is minimal and high rises are the safest places to live with all amenities on site(no need to drive around to go to the gym).

I would imagine plenty of women in Vegas look like a hooker or stripper and are neither.

Heck, last time I visited I got the "hey, what's your rate?" proposition five times in one day! And I was dressed very elegant. Oh well.

Haha, Vegas isn't that bad. I suspect you are either lying or something was hanging out you weren't aware of.
