Ok guys and gals,

We found a great OBGYN and Pediatrician but a regular doctor seems to be an elusive mythological creature here in Las Vegas.

Does anyone have a doctor like the following:

1. Doesn't run me in the front and out the back within ten minutes.
2. Doesn't seem to have some sort of hyperactive shaking head "yes, yes, yes, uh-huh, uh-huh" disorder then run you out the back.
3. Somewhere in the NW preferably.
4. Actually knowledgable and keeps up with their profession.
5. Actually like their job.
6. Doesn't make you wait forever in the office to see them.
7. Doesn't have staff you want to choke out with a sleeper hold.

I have tried two since I got here and I was really disappointed. They were Dr. Kimberly Adams and Dr. Biliana Darzev. Seemed to have no interest in the patient. It's like yeah yeah yeah where's that co-pay and insurance card?

Do any of the hospitals there have Family Practice (PCP) residency programs? They are wonderful resources if any hospitals offer them. You can usually get an appt. quickly and if you don't like the resident you are assigned to, you can switch quite easily or stick with them for their two year term and know they will soon be gone. I've found the residents have wonderful attitudes and are not burnt out, have no concerns about billing hours, are totally current on the latest medical things and always have a senior doctor supervising them in addition.

Best Dr. I've had in years is Dr. Danka Michaels:

7373 Peak Drive
Suite 160
Las Vegas, NV 89128

(702) 869-6190

She literally saved my life. I've been going to her for over five years now.

She spends time with you and is very thorough. The staff is OK too. Not perfect, but not bad.
