why so you could hook up with random trashy girls???

I stayed at Imperial Palace two years ago for a trade show. Where else could you stay Center Strip for $69 two years ago on a Saturday?

The rooms reminded me of the average Super 8. No better and the quality of the amenities was about the same. First place without shampoo.

Excalibur or Circus Circus? That's like asking whether I'd like a knee to the groin or a punch to the face.

I predict that Circus Circus will be the next property to be imploded.

I am totally amazed that it is still standing.....When it was built, the TOTAL construction time from groundbreaking to opening the doors [with wet paint on the walls] was 90 days......

But it was only the part that looks like a circus tent. On opening night my ex-wife and I were among the thousands of invited guests to be first to see the place. Everything was free, but after a few drinks everyone was sorry they drank them. It looked like everyone in Vegas had been invited. Luckily we only had about 180,000 population at the time. They had two bathrooms in the whole place. The place was so crowded about all you could do was walk in circles being pushed along by the crowd. The circles were going in both directions, so we kept meeting the same people on each circuit, and everytime we'd see somebody we knew they had one question..."Where's the bathroom?" We all looked like we'd p** our pants at any minute. Sarno was like a father with a new baby. I do believe he was drunk as a skunk too. I don't know if they still have it, but back then they had a slide from the balcony to the casino and everyone wanted to slide down. We were all impressed with the high dive. An acrobat did a 2½ gainer from above the crowd to a mattress that was about two inches from a 21 table on the casino floor. The people lucky enough to have a seat at any table hardly looked up when he bounced off the mattress. Las Vegans were jaded even then.
