Why?

If you need one the employer is supposed to give you the paperwork, and they send it in.

I too think it has to be done with the employer. I got mine in June and it is good for five years. I just got a print out on paper. I asked about the actual card because I thought I was supposed to carry it and my employer said it doesn't exist. You are registered with the gaming board and they can just check by your name to see if you are valid. I am looking at the paper now. It was issued by the State of Gaming Control Board. All it has on it is my name, expiration date and a registration #.

I'm wondering if he found a job that requires the card. Some people obviously think you need a card to look for a job.
