Hello. We're visiting Vegas for Thanksgiving holiday and want to know where we could find a nice Thanksgiving Day lunch buffet. It doesn't need to be on the strip, or downtown. They always say ask the locals...any suggestions? We would like to make reservations to avoid a wait. Thanks in advance!

Never heard of a buffet that took reservations. Many of the hotel/casinos have newspaper ads right before Thanksgiving, detailing what will be served in their buffets and restaurants on Thanksgiving day.

The Santa Fe was pretty good, but they didn't have Mince pie. I can't afford to go out this year, but I'm going to a friend's family's for Turkey Day instead.

The best buffet in town is at the Bellagio. Bellagio Buffet Las Vegas Restaurant - Bellagio

The best Thanksgiving sit down dinner is at Maggiano's in the Fashion Show Mall. Maggiano's Little Italy

I would go with Maggianos if I was looking for a Thanksgiving meal outside the home.

My family (wife, daughter, Mother in Law, friend, and friends son) went to Mt. Charleston for Thanksgiving dinner and had a wonderful meal. I would suggest you try and get reservations!

Mt. Charleston would be a nice pleasnt way to spend Turkey Day.

My wife and I used to go to Stovepipe Wells on Thanksgiving when it was just the two of us, and it was very good. That's the best time to see Death Valley.

How much are you willing to spend? Or would you prefer I call my daughter and ask if we can bring a friend to her house?

Hey!!!! What happened to the OP?

I'm here...I'm here!!!! Thanks for all the suggestions. Many of the buffets are expecting long waits. We'll have to see because we have a show to go to at 7. That's why we wanted to do a lunch instead of a dinner. If anyone else has a suggestion, please let me know. There are a total of 6 people in our party! We leave for Vegas tomorrow!!!
