nope not invisible.. the banfield inside of petsmart received horrible reviews so i wont go there.. el camino is 10 per shot 40 for the heartworm and 86 for a 12pk of interceptor (creaturecomforts wanted 170 on top of the 600 for the heartworm meds)

Banfield uses people as "techs" that can't even read or write. I went there once with my dogs and they were so stupid they scared me. So I picked up my dogs and left.

Whatever....I can tell you're appreciative of the time people took to reply to your question about innoculations for your still unspecified breed of dogs. I'm starting to find it preferable to just read and remain a lurker here.

Just curious, why are you keeping your pet on heartworm meds? Do you travel with your pet? It's not generally needed out here.

Good point. I didn't catch that one. No mosquitos, no heartworm. Also, the 7 in 1 booster shot required in Ohio is cheaper because I believe there it is a 5 in 1. Also no need for Frontline.

I use Centennial Hills Animal Hospital at the corner of Cimarron and Farm Rd in the NW. There is no charge for office visits, it's complimentary with vaccines and you don't need an appointment, you can just walk in. They do a quick exam of your pet during the visit. They don't just give the vaccines and send you on your way.

I would stay away from Leid, that's like going to the county hospital.

I also know Durango Animal Hospital off Durango and Spring Mountain does not charge an office visit for vaccinations only.

Full disclosure: My wife is a vet, but doesn't work for any of these clinics.

I take both of my pets here now when I can for their needs. The vet appears to be pretty knowledgeable and the staff have treated my pets well. Their prices are more reasonable too. If my pets have to get treatment not offered here, I take them to our regular vet at Durango Animal Hospital. The Clinic is a pretty good haul from the SW too, but less expensive for 2 dogs than going to the regular vet.
