I took a brief graphics desgin course in HS, but I never finished it. I was also thinking if I decide to go back to school UNLV seems like a good choice

Does the Clark County School District run any technical schools that have adult ed programs like Orange County does here in Orlando?

Thanks,

You know, I don't really know. I first went through Las Vegas in 1995, and I was some how drawn to it prior to trying to move here about 6 months later. After that, my friend and I would always come here on vacation once or twice a year. I always felt I fit in, and was more accepted here. I know these are stupid things that most people could care less about, but here are my main reasons why I like Vegas so much more over my hometown:

1. 24 hour drinking. I can not tell you how many times it would be just after 1 AM and I could not buy beer. I would have to wait until 6 AM, and until 10 AM on Sundays. That really pissed me off.

2. 24 hour town. In Phoenix, the whole metropolitan city would shut down after 1 AM. Here, I can go out all night with out having my night being cut short.

Every time I would come home from a Vegas vacation I would hate it. Just knowing I was back in Phoenix made me unhappy. In my heart, I always belonged here. I always winded up back in Phoenix because it is much easier to find work there, and friends that would help me out. I did not have friends or family in Vegas.

I am confused by this statement. Are you saying that there is a demand for graphic artists in the casino industry and that Casino corporate jobs are stable and secure?

That sucks man. Glad I never embraced my dad's idea to move to Phoenix.

Orlando is not much better though. With the exception of Wal-Mart and night clubs. The entire city seems to shut down after 10 PM. Clubs close at 2 am which is the cut off for alcohol sales, in Orange County, FL alcohol can only be sold between 9 am and 2 am

The only thing that really runs 24 hours is Wal-Mart down here, but even then after 9 or 10 o clock there isnt a soul in the store

i totally agree....Las Vegas is like one big trailer park off of the strip. The city itself is ugly, not set up good, and has no interest in defining anything other than the strip for culture.
If you have no college education, this is a great place to live as not much is expected of people who live here.
