Hi, I am having a real tough time finding worker here in the valley and I am wondering what are some places you guys know of that are hiring. I am in my early twenties clean DMV record, no criminal record, drug free.

Join the club. If you do not already have a job, you are probably not going to find one.

basically the case, I remembered back in 05 how good the job market was, the first place I applied to called me the next day and I was hired the day after that

That was then, this is now. Even if you can say, "Would you like fries with that?", you'll still have trouble finding a job.

True That, 05/06 was easy. I didnt even check to see who was hiring; I just emailed the General Managers of 3 restaurants I wanted to work at, 2 of them(TAO and Valentino) had me come in to interview and both offered me jobs within the next couple of days

Aaah, the good ol' days

If all of Las Vegas was a craps table...it would be a very cold table right now. Like craps, LV has its hot times and cold times...albeit the cycles are a bit longer than a craps table.

Not fully relevant to L/V but ...
If you are from PA and thinking about going back .. it may be time.

If you have gaming TABLE experience .. Pennsylvania has sign a bill allowing table games ..

However ... as you can see in L/V .. they always hire more then needed and then lay off the extras.
So only I would only consider this if you are "good".
