I chose "How would I know?" The Random outcome one seemed fitting, but maybe it just all seems random to me because I don't know, so that's the honest answer outside my usual cynicism that's engulfed everything I do comprehend (or at least think I comprehend). In any case, it seems like a market that's prone to get blindsided by many variables that are completely out of the control of individuals or even entire regions of society.

Naural catastrophes in other parts of the country could surprise us all.

A killer hurricane along the Gulf of Mexico or the Atlantic Ocean.

A major earthquake in Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Seattle or Portland.

Or a major earthquake in Las Vegas. How many easily forget!

Didn't the Northridge earthquake in 1994 drive a number of Californians up here after the quake?

Mother Nature may play a role in this.

Cool, it looks like I nailed this one perfectly as evidenced by the pubic poll. Home prices lost 3.6% since a year ago. All the haters lose again....
