My husband and I have been to Vegas twice, once in 1990 and back again in 94 to get married...we fell in love soon as we saw the lights of the strip as our plane was landing. We seriously thought of not making the return trip home.
We both love to travel and we are pretty free spirited,we have no kids and need a change...we are still young so why not! We have recently talked about moving out west and thought Vegas would be perfect,I am in the mood for change of scenery and pace.
If anyone could suggest an area that would be good for us to look at,I would appreciate it...
We would rent a home at first,up to 1200 a month so we unfortunately cant afford affluent areas but we dont want the ghetto either...and one more question...are scorpions an issue there? lol THANKS!

PS Im also a Hair Stylist, where do you guys like to get your hair done?

i was going to say the same thing.. 1. ive never seen a scorpion yet.. 2. havent seen the black widow either..

1200 is doable in a decent area also.. dm me.. i have some ideas.. my rental home (which is rented, not trying to solicit here) is in a gated community and there are a few more available for rent.... nice area.no pool though..
other areas can be found also..

But you have seen scorpion him?

How does one sex a scorpion?

To the OP...scorpions are rare but present once in a while. They generally inhabit a small area...a few hundred yards. Outside of those pockets you will never see one. I have seen more than a few.

And Airics...anytime you like you can come over and I will introduce you to the black widow who lives quite well in my breaker box. She allows me to throw breakers when needed as long as I don't make a pest of myself.

Or you could live in the Great lakes region where people complain incessantly about the amount of snow all winter and how cold it is, only to shelter themselves from the sun in the summer because it's too humid.
