I know that there is the Rapmart Commons on Charleston Blvd but where is there a Macys and Dillards near by? Would it be The Meadows Mall?

Is The Meadows mall in a safe area? Many localls tell me that they drive all the way to Sunset Galleria in Henderson.

Just jump on the Summerlin PKWY and take that to the strip...Fashion Show Mall....Best in town and less than 15 min door to door.

the Meadows Mall is a perfectly safe area of town....the ONLY mall in town that is questionable is the Boulevard Mall on Maryland Parkway....and even then I would not hesitate to go there.....

Macy's, Dillard's in the Meadows doesn't offer as much as the Fashion Show location.

I'm sure you're aware that you will drive right past Meadows Mall if you do that. That said I agree with you, if I'm going to get in the car, I'll just go to Fashion Show Mall. I might even take DI depending on where I start from - if you're starting out south of Sahara, I bet the driving time is very close.

The Meadows and Boulevard Malls are like any other in Anytown, USA. The Fashion Show Mall is more of ...and I know this sounds gay which I ain't...an "experience". Ha, ha. Unless you live in Henderson, or just want to go to Dick's Sporting Goods, the Galleria hasn't got anything the Meadows and Boulevard Malls don't have. But I will admit that those two malls aren't what they used to be, and there are so many gangsta types in them you might feel uncomfortable. Since stores sell products that their customer base is more into, you will find better items at the Fashino Show. There are also the various outlet malls, but they don't have Macy's or Dillards. Only the Fashion Show has Nordies, and Needless Markup, and Bloomies Home Store.

The District in Henderson is worh a trip now and then. Good places to eat too.

I personally prefer The Galleria at Sunset.. I think it has more to offer than The Meadows and wayyy more to offer than The Boulevard. The Galleria has a Buckle and a Starbucks, and a Fashion Q. The Meadows should do though, if you're looking for a Macy's and a Dillards. The Dillards inside The Boulevard closed down in the end of 2008. And the coolest store in The Boulevard was Heritage which also just closed down.

As long as a mall has a decent bookstore or two, I'm happy.

We live in Summerlin and usually bypass the Meadows Mall unless we just need to run in to a particular store for something we already know we need. My favorite mall is Town Square with Galleria running a close second. I'm not a big fan of Fashion Show mostly because it can be confusing with the different floors that don't go all the way across and it is just too big.
