Any fellow boxers/boxing fans out there?

Lost among all of the great things to do in Las Vegas (on the Strip, in Downtown/Arts District, locally, in the mountains) is the fact that we have top-notch, Olympic-quality boxing cards here 1-2 times a month.

Not talking about the mega-fights, but excellent "under-the-radar" fighters.
Great fight tonight at the Hard Rock: Campillo vs. Shumenov II

To fellow locals: Although some of these "smaller" fights may be at the Palms or the Hard Rock, crowds are as much local as they are tourist.

To future visitors: If it's something you're into, then check Las Vegas event calendars before your trip (there may be a fight the weekend you're visiting).

I love boxing, I am a big fan and I usually see events at Madison Square Garden. You have a Las Vegas boxing website that tells of upcoming events? I was seriously thinking about becoming a judge for boxing, but I am so honest that they would never use me. Seen a lot of great world championship match-ups here.

MSG? Nice!

Here's the link to Las Vegas Weekly Magazine: www.lasvegasweekly.com
Check the Calendar tab from time to time. Best source for finding out what's happening around town (from boxing matches to art exhibits to music to ... )

LOL. Yeah, honesty and judging don't go hand-in-hand.

Is there any way that reasonable ticket prices might prevail during the Pretty Boy vs. Mosely fight? I hope Mosely takes him, because he is so damn cocky. On the other hand, Pretty Boy is a damn good fighter.

Is it just me or is UFC all about repressed homosexuality? I would wager that 80% of UFC fans masturbate to prison rape fantasies.
