I just about want to smack Fox 5 Vegas' weather guy every time I watch the news and he is moaning about the occasional drop of rain and cheer-leading yet another extended stretch of the same old dry, samey weather.

Bring on the rain I say!

"Am I the only one who loves rain?"

Yes, I absolutely despise the rain. I have had more than enough, and it will be back tomorrow again. If it never rained again in my lifetime I would be more than thrilled.

Rain == excuse not to do yard work or work on outside of house

I'm pretty sure the forecast just changed recently. It was calling for rain only on Monday, and now it's showers for the next four days. I was nailing roof tiles on top of my patio cover earlier today and now I need to climb up there in the dark and get all the tools I left up there, thinking the weather would be dry for a few days.

Don't worry, they will get the forecast wrong just like they always do here

2 weeks ago on Saturday, they predicted the rain wouldn't start until "late afternoon". I had a 9:38 tee time at LV National and it started to rain just when we teed off and continued through most of the round. By the time, the round ended at 2:00, the rain stopped and the sun started shining.

The weather people absolutely suck here, wish I could bring Bob Ryan from DC here.

The weather forecasters on TV are a bunch of dimwits. They are never happy. All they want is sunshine year round. They complain when it's cool out, they complain when it's hot out. They are hard to please.

I love the rain! I like to walk in it. Smell it. Watch it from my porch with a cup of tea. The winter rain's are the best. Summer rains don't last enough, but I like those too.
For those of you who do not like rain, relocate to Dubai.

Only if you want to. Or you can learn to love the rain. Without it, all the tree's would dry up and fall over. The grass would not be green in places where grass actually exists. The bugs need it, the birds need it. And it makes great rainbows.

I just don't want to it rain when I'm down there. If I want rain I'll stay up here in the PNW. However I think it was nicer here today than down there.

LOL I lived in Vegas for 10 years and now, Hawaii. I still go "OH WOW, IT'S RAINING!" every time it starts here! We love it.

I had wished you came today instead of the weekend. It is beautiful out there right now. I even have my door open. However, there is rain being foretasted for the next 3 days.
