Just goes to show you that court orders (as I well know, particularly civil) are not worth the paper they are written on --- most of the time.


Debt collectors turned away at Wayne Newton home - BusinessWeek

Sheriff's deputies were turned away from entertainer Wayne Newton's sprawling ranch home Thursday while trying to collect a $500,000 court judgment stemming from back pay owed to a former pilot, authorities said.

it was a civil manner not a criminal one......remember....the US does not have debtors prisons....owing money is not a crime here.....

the us did in the 1800s though

if there were debtors prisons now, we'd ALL be in jail
