I have Sprint for phone and internet (3G) and have never had any problems. Their customer service is excellent.

Thanks Kate for your input! I love the new EVO phone that Spring has.

You got that right!! I can't get transfer speeds over 110 kbps here in the Pueblos area of Summerlin! Calls from my home are dropped about 50% of the time. But if I travel for work to any other place in the country, Verizon is great!!

Honestly don't understand why I put up with Verizon for over 3 years since moving to our home in Summerlin. I had service tickets open 3 separate times for Verizon to "check their towers" in this area (89128 zip code), and each time, there was no improvement. The tech support supervisor went so far as to say I had a good argument for terminating my service for another carrier... but like a fool, I held on, suffering with my crawling data speeds (and with a Storm 1, I had no wi-fi...now waiting patiently for the DroidX). But...I'm also waiting patiently for the day we move out of Las Vegas - sometime in August!

Man, please tell me that's not true. I'm getting ready to dump the iPhone/AT&T as soon as Verizon's Droid X is released.

AT&T is horrible here and just about everywhere else. I'm tired of "No bars in more places". It works great in Laredo TX though - go figure!

I've had Verizon for a few years and have not had one dropped call. As a matter of fact, where I work (out near Indian Springs) and where I shoot (off of Great Basin Highway) my phone is usually the only one with reception (aside from other Verizon users). Full bars all the time. Seriously, never had a dropped call.

I will stick to my Verizon endorsement. We simply don't have trouble in Las Vegas...the only place we did have trouble was at home and the femto tower fixed that...for us and we suspect a couple of neighbors.

Verizon seems to be more expensive than the competition though. Is it worth the extra $10-20 a month?
