Hi folks:

I was wondering if there are any indoor basketball courts (churches, UNLV?) open to the public into the evening hours. My home & work zip is 89101 (downtown), but I’m willing to roam.

I’d prefer to shoot myself back into shape solo, but curious if there are any rec leagues recommend for … slow … 5’8 … 31-year olds?

I’m sure some of the 24-Hour fitness locations have courts, but they are likely in Summerlin or Henderson, and the $$$ required seems like overkill just to shoot hoops (my condo already has a nice gym).

Thanks in advance!

The only other place that I can think of other than 24Hr Fitness would be a YMCA. But I have no idea how much they charge...

The Y by Meadows Mall had an active pickup basketball game during the day...

The YMCA also runs a couple of the bigger city Rec Centers which have full sized gyms.

I would start there. We swam which was reasonably inexpensive.
