Hey all. Going to LV this weekend for the ac/dc show. Can anyone recommend a place to go after the show that will be up our alley? We are looking for rock-n-roll type places. No hip hop/trendy places. Any recommendations?

The show is at MGM Grand, right?

As far as food goes, Burger Bar (Mandalay Bay) is nearby: AMAZING burgers, great selection of beers, rock-n-roll vibe.

For drinks and a place to hang out, The Beauty Bar and The Griffin are cool places.
They're both in Downtown (Fremont East), though- far from MGM Grand.

Both are more vintage/retro than rock-n-roll, and they also have that trendy aspect you are not looking for, so you may want to check out the links below to get a better feel for them.

bars run late for the most part....

not much bear the MGM,

here are my reccos

1. Go downtown to freemont street and check out some of the bars, beauty bar, grif, and there are more

2. if you like dive bars with locals crowd and the odd shocked looking tourist, hit the double down saloon over near UNLV and the Hard Rock.

Double Down Saloon - Home of the fabled Ass Juice, Birthplace of the Bacon Martini

truly a great spot!

Its hardcore but it never closes, so drink til you drop....

as far as rock on the strip on a friday.....nothing comes to mind.

if you do go tot the Double, hit the hard rock first and check out the casino and the goings on, they have a spot called wasted space, but i dont think its open late but cal over

the casino and music and overall weekend vibe at hard rock is the best, worth the cab to leave the MG behind...

enjoy

AC/DC fan would totally dig FeelGoods.
The Loudest Rock Club in Vegas - Feelgoods Rock Bar & Grill

Its not near MGM - but probably exactly your scene. (20-30 min drive from the strip)
