Hey guys, I'm from Florida where we have the terrific Publix supermarket chain. Can you tell me where is a store of comparable quality near Paradise and Karen Avenue?

What's Publix? Never heard of them.

Google Smiths, Vons or Albertsons in Las Vegas, Nevada. Those are our Big 3 here in the valley and maybe the same or close to whatever Publix is...

If Publix is one of those all natural food places...google Whole Foods...if it's a big box store, google Costco, Sam's Club or Smart and Final

Sorry, but more than likely whatever regional/local stores you were used to in Florida, you won't find here in Nevada.

Just as I'm sure that the OP has never heard of Smith's or Vons.

Publix is a chain in the Southeast U.S. with locations in FL, GA, SC, TN & AL. It is considered by far to be the top supermarket chain in FL, if not the rest of the southeast.

Smiths or Albertson's.

If you are staying at the timeshare property there (paradise & karen), I suggest that when you go shopping to any of the supermarkets that are relatively close, don't go after dark & don't go as a woman by yourself. Go in the middle of the day with two adults and you'll be fine.

you might be fine anyway at night by yourself, but you might not feel fine.
