Your experience is similar to mine in this regard. I frequented a Grocery Outlet in northern CA for about four years, and often found their products comparable to those in far more expensive grocery stores. The product selection was not all that inconsistent where I shopped though.

There was a Grocery Outlet near the intersection of Bonanza and Rancho (across Rancho from a Cox building) about four or five years ago. It's a hike from where we live so I never went there, but if someone else remembers this please confirm my memory.

I think you are talking about where the state offices are on Belrose. There was a furniture store there at one time also.

That store was in the Charleston Plaza Mall. It was their grandfather's store. I can't remember if there were other locations, but I didn't think it was Thriftymart. Those two were born with a silver spoon in their mouths so to speak. Actually there might be at least one other brother.

I feel partially responsible for her doing the car commercials. Fletcher and his agency man asked my opinion and I thought it was a good idea to have a woman's view; especially a light hearted one at that.

It's true that the Dollar Stores have food that must be "salvage" whatever that is.
