After two months of living in Vegas my face is PARCHED!

I've done a search on this forum for recommendations on moisturizers, but didn't find what I'm looking for so thought I'd ask.

I'm looking for a a facial moisturizer with sunscreen. I tried the Olay line first but it seems I'm allergic to something in the product....SERIOUS itching after one application. I also did a google search but some of the recommended products were >$30 for a two ounce tube!!

So, if you have a favorite moisturizer w/suncreen I'd LOVE to hear about it.

Thanks and my skin thanks you more (I DO NOT want to end up looking like grandma in 'There's Something about Mary')

My friend suggested one from Philosophy - I think its called Shelter. Its a tinted sunscreen/moisturizer. I would probably use a more heavy duty one at bedtime as well.

Most of the products I use are from Paula Begoun. She has moisturizers, foundations, & powder that include sunscreen.

I like to smear butter on my face, it gives it a nice shine.

Why not try a sunscreen with moisturizer. I get one from my dermatologist that really feels good on the skin; better than all my wife's lotions. And it has no fragrances like the commercial products do. That's usually what people are allergic to.

I second this recommendation. Check out her Website: Paula Begoun: Paula's Choice: Cosmetics Cop: Skin Care & Makeup Tips & Reviews

Paula knows more about skincare products than most dermatologists. Her Website is designed to help you choose a very specific product right for your skin and her prices are very reasonable. You're not paying for fancy packaging or ad campaigns. She also provides reviews of products manufactured by other companies and is very specific about why she would or would not recommend them.

I have very oily skin, but it's also sensitive as I'm allergic to a lot of ingredients, including Retin A, a common thing in oily skin products. In addition to selling me good products that work, Paula's Website has helped me understand why certain things are good for my skin.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions!

Buzz - could you send me the name of your dermatologist? I'm needing one but don't want to just pick someone from the phone book.
