If you like Dim Sum, try Orchid Garden.

We ate there a couple times.

Gramps???

Sorry, Punk. It was Phó Saigon 8. Didn't like the food or the service and thought the place looked dirty and drab. Other than that it looked like a nice place.

Are you sure the Joyful House isn't outside Clark County limits? In either case, be sure to ask for the Happy Ending at dessert time.

In the Chinatown complex west of Decatur off Spring Mt. there's a great Pho and Vietnam sandwich place called Hua Thai (iirc). I've also enjoyed Ichiza (the complex just west of the main Chinatown mall, 2nd floor), Sam Woo, the family style chinese restaurant inside the main mall, and the bbq pork steam buns from inside that awesome bakery.

I'd say it's been worth exploring the area for food if you're looking for something new to try. I'd also recommend Archi's Thai Kitchen off Flamingo, just west of Jones. Very, very affordable and tremendous flavor. Also, insanely hot if you ask for it that way.

Could someone explain to me where the "main Chinatown mall" is? I've driven on Spring Mountain a few times with the hopes of finding a good bakery & pork buns but have never known where to stop. It all seems so strung out & not walkable? Thank you.
