The Grand Canyon is the most beautiful thing I've ever seen on this earth. Loved every minute I was there in Oct. of 2007. After seeing Foghat near Wickenburg, AZ, the night before. Twas a great weekend of fun!

I don't know guys. I've been to the Grand Canyon, in fact I have been many places around the world. I simply don't appreciate the desert as much as you all do. I love the architecture of Europe, the colors of the leaves during fall on the east coast and the sound of the waves of Lake Michigan crashing on the shore as I fall asleep. The desert just doesn't do it for me. But again, it is simply my opinion

Go to the buffet at M next trip no comparison.

+1

Far and away the best lunch buffet I've had in Vegas, and for $14.99 (at least that's what it was in February). It beat the $50-60 dinner buffets at Wynn and Bellagio hands down.

There's also complimentary beer and wine which, of course, makes it all the better!

I was so in love with the fact that you can see mountains everywhere you look, it was amazing.... I guess its the same way people feel when they come to West New York, NJ where I live and see the NYC city skyline right there... but I found las vegas to be much more beautiful than Northern NJ.
Yes, Nevada is the most mountainous State in the nation. Lots of natural beauty in and around the Las Vegas Valley. I was at Valley of Fire today, it was brutal though, the park ranger was checking on everyone including myself. He was driving around approaching everyone parked making sure people are prepared if they venture out further than the parking areas. It was just a random thing for me to drive over to Valley of Fire, it is best to visit during Spring, Fall and even during the Winter but the place was just beautiful even in the heat and summer time.

Goodluck with your job prospect!

Don't waste your time at the buffet at Rampart Casino. I was not impressed. Good thing it was free! Next time I'll try the M.

Usually people who go to Vegas stay on the strip but I'm one of those people who went off the strip and yes, it's so beautiful and nice. The houses -- wow. Just really nice and the little shopping areas, etc. are just nice. I went all the way to Red Rock Casino and that area is real nice as well. I went to the Grand Canyon in the summer and it was like 112 degrees. Hot, but well worth it. It was worth every minute. Really is a wonder of the world.

We loved it

I looked at homes, neighborhoods, went into stores and got a "real" feel for the place... I can't wait to go back !

Also stayed on the strip for 2 nights, lots a fun, the casino's are amazing.... and the Silveton buffet was by far the best one compared to MGM Grand, Mirage, Luxor and a few others we tried.

Loved the Spanish Trails neighborhood, Coronado Ranch area and Summerlin, but the Southwest is my fav. I think we will by somewhere by Moutain's Edge if possible.

I put in my application with the CCSD and just waiting for the call !
You broke the Vegas Rules. Rule number 3 is that all visitors are expected to confine themselves to downtown or the strip and leave the rest of the city to its residents. I know because I have broken the Vegas Rules too. We have went lots of places there including Summerlin which no visitor is ever supposed to see. It was fun. My wife found this place called Sweet Tomato there and we loved it and now we found out we got one here at home too!
