OK - fingerprints done, civics test and interview coming up August 7.

I'll do the studying. Can anyone tell me what is involved with the interview?

This thing is moving along fast enough I may be able to vote in November. Very good.

Thanks

The test is very straightforward- just learn one of the answers to each of the 100 questions.

There isn't a big interview the way there is for the visa, adjustment of status etc, Mostly, they go over the form you filed out, may ask you a couple of questions, such as why you travelled a lot if you did, or about any speeding tickets you got. Most of your time will likely be waiting in the waitingroom to be called. Actual interview took less than 20 mins for me.

Same here. Officer was very pleasant and chatty (they know all about you by the time of the interview). Test is easy and I got my invitation for the oath ceremony at the same time (had to wait for about an hour). Make sure you have your passport and that the form you filled in matches the stamps in the passport. You should be a citizen by the end of August, all being well.
