There are several options. I have recently come back from getting information from an immigration lawyer. Aside from the Skilled Worker visa, they have the EB-5 visa. With this, if you invest between $500, 000.00 and $1,000,00.00, you can apply for a visa to look at your investments. This is the fastest way to a Visa and generally takes between 2-9 months.
The other option is to start a business that employs several people. A lot more hassle, and you have to personally run the business. This takes slightly longer to process.
There is also the Visa Lottery or, if you have family, they can apply to bring you in. Those take the longest in general.
