Hey there people,
Sorry to bother you so often. I had made an earlier thread concerning my predicament. Here it is:
//www.city-data.com/forum/legal...nge-query.html
So I went in and collected my passport today and here is the visa. There was nothing else with the passport. So I just want to be doubly sure. Any comments will be appreciated.

You applied for a visa, looks like you got a visa,,i'm not seeing what your concerns are.
Odd that its good for 10 years when you've implied it was for a much more temporary nature.
Heres some info on RB1/B2 Visas

My uncle had force fed me that I would be asked to return from the airport if I wasn't accompanied by my mother because I had applied as her caretaker at the interview(ie-I was going for her well being). They might stop me and ask why my mother isn't with me and tell me to turn back.
But thanks for the response. Much appreciate.

If by some very remote chance you should be asked specifically then simply be truthful and say that your mother's plans remain uncertain. Stop listening to your uncle. You have a valid visa to request entry to the US.

You got a 10-year multiple entry visa. These are usually business-related, as far as I know.

There are three "B" visas. Business (visa category B-1), tourism, pleasure or visiting (visa category B-2), or a combination of both purposes (B-1/B-2). OP has the latter.
