Oh, and by the way, Washington violates the borders of other countries ALL THE TIME, in the name of the US, using things like troops, heavy weaponry, drones, private contractors, trumped-up charges of war, arming "rebels", etc. Also agreements like NAFTA and CAFTA. And most citizens permit this to happen, without so much as a call to their Senator or Congressman.

How many Americans know what NAFTA and CAFTA are and what they do?

Easy! They're the closest/poorest country to the U.S with many family members already here who are settled in.

They're getting a good education now. And they'll get an even better one when back to school gets cranked up.

Who cares? We don't have to prove anything to anyone.

Just go about your life and be proud of who you are. Usually people who criticize and make generic comments about others are bitter unhappy people anyways.

We don't need the 'recognition' of ignorant people. If anything I will just be prouder than ever of my roots, heritage and multilingual skills.

I wish I knew more! I probably don't understand who benefited because it seems to have hurt workers/middle class in the US, Mexico, and other Central American countries.

What's the problem with them? The land of freedom can't handle some free trade between countries?

It's been a good deal for Mexico, for sure. It's now the biggest exporter of cars and the middle class has expanded, especially in industrial cities in central and northern Mexico.

Although it has its bad parts, because some stuff still pay import tariffs and what not. In an actual free market you wouldn't need "agreements" ... you would just not impose taxes on goods produced outside your borders.

Bwahahahahaha! The land of "freedom". As far as I know, Mexicans don't have a NSA monitoring every electronic communication of its citizens.

How do they get in though?

Because for us (we are far richer) it is extremely hard to get in.. surely they can't all be illegal?
