This defending of Illegal immigrants in the USA is just a green light for anyone who wants to go to America Illegaly. It seems that all you have to do is, get access to the USA and then you are defended and allowed to stay. I wish people would understand that when you talk about Illegal immigrants that you are not putting them in the same category as LEGAL immigrants. All countries are made up from Citizens and Legal immigrants. It is the Illegal immigrants that should not be in the USA. If it is OK for Illegals then maybe i should pass the word around in the UK that all you have to do is hop on a plane to America and not come back. Illegal means nothing anymore and you can stay in a sanctuary city as bold as brass and no one will do anything about it. When people get hot under the collar on here about Universal Health Care and having to pay for other peoples healthcare who don't pay, maybe Legal immigrants should protest about having to pay to get into the USA and thus paying for all the illegals who gain access for nothing.

I work with a lot of post-docs from Europe, and they think it's really maddening when we let people cross the border and get anything they want.
These kids have to pay big money, wait a long time, go for an interview, get papers, go back to their home country to renew a visa, etc. And, when they get a green card, they have to have a lawyer and pay LOTS of money, if they plan on staying longer.
So does anyone who wants to live in America. So they just take the easy option and sneek into the USA and jump the queue, pay nothing, contribute nothing. As i said---- why should anyone bother going through the legal expensive route when it is obvious that America will stand for ILLEGAL immigration into it's country. If someone is prepaired to be illegal then why should they obey any of the laws of the USA? They won't.
