I've considered studying in the UK, though it seems like they seek to practically throw you right out as soon as you've graduated. I think the UK should be more hospitable to very good students, and help them build a life there if they desire.

Most countries have student visas that run out once your status as a student ends.

You can apply for a different visa after this period, just as you can in most countries.

The current syatem is going to change following Brexit.

Javid has said he will consider scrapping the current cap of 20,700 on highly skilled migrants as part of the post-Brexit vision.

Applicants will need to meet a minimum salary threshold – for highly skilled migrants this stands at £30,000 – but Javid has hinted that this will be reviewed.

Successful applicants for highly skilled work will be able to bring their immediate family – but only if sponsored by their future employers.

For tourists and short-stay business trips, the government is looking at developing a system of e-gate visa checks for all low-risk countries.

Passports would be scanned in airports, train stations and ports. All security and criminal records checks would be carried out in advance of visits in a US-style system.

A future deal post Brexit between the anglosphere countries of Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom, known as CANZUK could involve increasing free movement of people.

Why should they? It's not like they have a people shortage.

Welcome to the real world! Building your life is something you have to do on your own. There is no inypternational assistance program.

Why should they, unless the students have badly needed skills.

I was thinking about something like this with the US, Canada, UK, Australia, and OK New Zealand too forming their own alliance.
