My company using their contract lawyer is sending me my L1B Blanket Application. Towards the end of May, I was renting a U-Haul 6x12 to tow behind my truck with all our personal effects. My question is outside of all the VISA paperwork - what do I need Customs wise to declare or claim all our "stuff" that we are bringing across the border?
I’d just document everything. Take pictures. If there’s anything that looks especially expensive (electronics, music gear, etc.) have receipts or other documentation.
What you want to show is you’re not importing things to sell them in the US. Usually it’s more an issue bringing items into Canada.
