I ´am moving out of Lehigh Valley and plan to put my house on the market pretty soon. How much real estate commission do you currently pay ? (300-400k price range).

Agent told me it is negotiable, but of course I want them to get the deal done.

Thanks for feedback !

Lot depends on how you price your house, If you price it for a quick sale, you sould be able to get 4-5%. the 'standard' is 6%. If you can set your price so it sell fast the agent will get there % fast and will be more willing to lower there rate.

I seem to remember 6% - 3% to the buyers agent and 3% to the selling agent.
