We are moving just a few miles away from this pool - I discovered it last week while I was driving around the area.

Anyone know anything about it? It looked nice enough, is it?

Thanks!

According to my friends who live down there it is very nice. Here is the website: LMT - Home Page

If you like to walk, bike, or rollerblade, I suggest a visit to the Rodale Fitness Park located on Mosser Road across from the velodrome. There are paved paths to walk/run/bike/blade on, as well as nice wooded paths for walking. My son races his bike in the park each Thursday during the warm months.

Lower Macungie Pool is nice, but it's one of my least favorites. It's too shady unless the temp is in the high 90's. Baby pool is too separated from the big one, if you have kids under 5ish and some over 5ish. And for a real treat, take a day trip to the new Bethlehem area pool. It's fun like a water park! The nice thing about the Valley is that you don't have to be a member to go to the different pools.

Folks,

I recently moved to the Emmaus area. I had to sign-up for this site because you all saved me a heap of time trying to figure out where things are located.

I am trying to find a nice recreational center for my family that offers things like a "Y" such as indoor swimming, basketball and other programs for kids. Any advise? Do you know of anywhere relatively close to Emmaus that offers these things but are a bit more up to date than the "Y" in Allentown?

McUnG mentioned the Bethlehem Area Pool. Which pool is this? I couldn't locate it on the internet. I am trying to find an outdoor pool that offers "water park" types of activities.

Thanks.

What about the Emmaus pool? http://www.emacswim.org/ I know kids that have gone through lessons (both swimming and diving) there and liked it. My kids have been there for birthday parties. It's not new and shiny but convienent for Emmaus people and has a good rep.

We only have swim-zone on my side of the mountain http://www.swim-inzone.com/ This is new and is focused on lessons.
