My Family and I are moving to the Bethlehem area at the end of this month from South Florida and I am trying to get a pulse on how the real estate market is doing in this area. I talked to a few real estate agents and they are telling me the houses are going for 90% - 95% of asking price. I am having a hard time believing this since I just sold my house in South Florida for 77%
of asking price and was considered a good deal!
Any input would be helpful!

I know from just talking to my son in law that homes in his neighborhood are selling for less then a year or two ago. One just sold for about $65,000 less then that model had been selling at. Another about $50,000 less then that particular model sold for previously.
