Finding a house for rent in my area is often hard to do. SL is a small school district where housing is somewhat scarce compared to other areas in the LV. This article posted on the on-line newspaper, The Patch, lists some homes for rent. Housing for Rent in Southern Lehigh - Upper Saucon, PA Patch

Southern Lehigh School District reported 12.7% of it's housing is rented and 4.0% is vacant in the 2010 census. Allentown City reported 55% of the homes are rented or vacant. Bethlehem City and Emmaus Borough are at 50% rented or vacant.

Coopersburg Borough Renter occupied 317 Vacant housing units 31
Upper Saucon Township Renter occupied 530 Vacant housing units 223
Lower Milford Township Renter occupied 123 Vacant housing units 53

Southern Lehigh has a smaller percentage than Saucon Valley School District (22.83% rented or vacant), and East Penn School District (22.81% rented or vacant).

I am assuming that vacant housing is much more likely to be converted to rental housing than owner occupied.
