The Super Giant Garage Sale will be held at the Allentown Fairgrounds tomorrow and Sunday. Does anyone know if there is an admission charge, or is it free? I checked the website, but there isn't any information about that. I'll continue to look online and see if I can find out.

Bloom, have you been to the Farmer's Market? It's right next door to the garage sale if you are going down. It's not quite on par with Lancaster or Reading Terminal, but it's a good place to go when you get hungry

My vote is to buy some high quality bacon from S. Clyde Weaver's there at the Market and enjoy a delicious BLT!!

I was disappointed I guess I thought there'd be more craftsmen and stuff like that. (I don't know why... it plainly says "Super Garage Sale," but I assumed and you know what happens when one assumes).

I did have a neat find though--an old style (not sure what year) movie projector. They only wanted $20 for it! I have an old Kodak movie camera from the 1960s, and an old Polaroid camera from probably the early 70s, so I thought it would be neat to have this for display. Unfortunately I had no money and when I asked my boyfriend he said "NO." He was being cranky today.

Usually I'd just do it anyway but since he had money and I didn't...

My husband and I went on Sunday and we weren't that impressed either. Oh well, I'll be going to some more flea markets now that they will be re-opening for the summer.

Do you know where there are good ones? I'm really bad at shopping at flea markets I guess. I have friends and family who come home with some really great finds, but I usually don't find anything but junk.
